I love Gin! I love Hot Chocolate! Maybe putting them together makes something great?

EWWW. NO. HELL NO. WHY? Did that come to your mind? Let’s try it before doubting that it tastes bad. So… Will they make best buddies?

Amsterdam Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 2 cl of Bols Genever
  • 1.5 cl of Grand Marnier
  • 1 cl of Chartreuse
  • 1.5 dl of Hot Chocolate

Directions

  • Put all ingredients in a mug
  • If you desire: top it with whipped cream and sprinkle chocolate/cocoa powder over it
  • Love it or hate it (but try it out first 🙂 )

How did I find it? Are they best buddies or not?

I can say that this combination will definitely tickle your taste buds!

I don’t want to say that the recipe is bad, because taste is different. But it’s not for me. Could be because I’m more into Gin than into Genever. I don’t know…

So I drank it, but if I can choose another boozy hot chocolate, I would go for a Lumumba (hot chocolate with rum) or simply hot chocolate with Amaretto.

Taste is different. What is your experience with boozy hot chocolate? Let us know!
